Here she shares the story of her career so far, in her own words.
Delivery is the focus for my role. I work with project engineers to meet customers’ connection requirements and to introduce improvements across our process. We help businesses across London prepare for their future needs as well as providing them the tools they need to meet their ambitions.
The people I work with both in office and on the field, watching the systems we use develop, and being able to see a project start to finish.
I started at Vorboss as Graduate Engineer and achieved this role by exploring the many opportunities available. I initially found the role on GiveAGradAGo.
When I joined, my colleagues and I all had a background in various engineering disciplines. However, as the team has grown people from range of academic backgrounds have joined the team and we’ve also have field team members join and become permanent team members through secondments.
Vorboss will equip you to do your best in the role. For installation technicians they provide in-house training for SA002 Underground Safety as they are now an accredited centre. Within my team we’ve had access to project management courses as well as a 5% budget to spend on further development.
To be working within the industry allows you to be at the forefront of a world that is constantly evolving, and gives you a chance to influence that change.
