Robin Sloan

Robin Sloan has over 30 years experience in microwave and millimetre-wave electronics including MMIC design. He is an industry consultant with active projects in on-wafer millimetre-wave measurements, calibration, device modelling and electromagnetic applications including microwave non-destructive test. The applications for his current work include next generation measurement platforms for advanced 5G, 6G and mm-wave satellite band communications and microwave inspection of composite materials. He is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of IET and Senior Member of IEEE. He is a member of Royal Society Industry Fellow College. During his academic career at The University of Manchester (1994 – 2017) Rob published over 100 refereed papers and graduated 20 PhDs.
