Louis "Sam" Samuel

Louis “Sam” Samuel is a Founding Partner as 4MC Partners . He is a visionary technologist having held Chief Technology and Chief Architect positions for business units in a variety of companies, most recently in Cisco where he had responsibility for 5G technology evolution, which covered a wide range of areas such as: virtualisation and orchestration of its mobility products, autonomic management of cellular networks (via the application of SON technologies), policy and small cell technology evolution and the application of 5G to enterprises and verticals. As a technologist, Sam has recently been investigating the long-term effects of pandemics on technology accessibility, 6G, privacy and trust in future internet and Quantum Networking.

Sam attended Queen Mary College, University of London, receiving an MEng in Communication Engineering in 1995 and a PhD in the Application of Non-Linear Dynamics to Teletraffic Modelling in 1999. Sam is also a Bell Labs Fellow for his work on cellular data systems.
