Amar Abid-Ali

Amar joined the CSA Catapult as Chief Commercial Officer in February 2019 after leading a large business development team at Future Electronics. As Chief Commercial Officer, Amar oversees the Business Development, Marketing, Market Research and Intelligence teams, to drive the generation of commercial business and collaborative R&D projects in technology areas such as net zero, telecoms diversification and intelligent sensing. He brings with him sector specific technology and market knowledge and experience in automotive, telecoms, and industry 4.0 Additionally Amar is currently acting as the interim DER Centre Lead for South West and Wales, where CSA Catapult is leading the materials and components aspects of the Driving the Electric Revolution Industrialisation Centres.
