A Software-defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) is a virtual network architecture that allows enterprises to utilise different networks including MPLS, 4G/LTE, Broadband and Direct Internet services to securely connect users to applications. An SD-WAN uses a centralized control function to securely and intelligently direct data across the virtual network. This approach can increase application performance and increased business productivity, agility. SD-WAN networks are more suited to organisations that need to connect to existing enterprise servers and cloud services. Compared to more traditional MPLS networks , an SD-WAN architecture can also reduce cost for an organization. Fusion Broadband’s SD-WAN offering offers a cloud-first approach enabling organisations to deploy a virtual private network. Our focus is on providing organisations with high performance Internet and inter-office private networking keeping you 100% connected. Fusion Broadband, a leading SD-WAN networking solution from Australia, is now available in the UK for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and direct customers.
