Andrew Till

Andrew brings over 25 years of experience working in global high-tech industries including consumer electronics, mobile devices, automotive and IoT.   He is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of driving success focusing on key new innovations and market opportunities. Andrew has held various executive positions at Psion (Head of Technology), Motorola (Senior Director Applications and Services), SymphonyTeleca (CTO) and most recently with Harman International (VP, Technology, Partnerships).

 

 

Andrew started his career as a software developer at Gartner Group before being moved to the analyst team to head up the emerging ISDN and Cable Modem practices.  During his career Andrew was worked on projects such as Introducing the first Symbian and Android smart phones, and most recently drove the creation of Harman’s Automotive cloud platform which is now deployed with multiple OEMs and network operators.

 

 

During the past 10 years Andrew has support multiple Fortune 500 companies with the development of their core innovation projects ranging from the likes of Sirius XM, Sprint, AT&T & MSC Cruises.

 

He has sat on multiple industry forums and boards including being the former vice chair of Code Aurora Foundation, Qualcomms’ open source BSP initiative, and is currently a board member of the DTVKit an open source foundation for the digital broadcast industry.

 

 

Andrew attend Brunnel University in the UK and he gained a BA(hons) in International Business Administration and Italian. Throughout his career Andrew has been a regular industry speaker and panelist are leading industry events such as CTIA and MWC.
