Anthony Karydis (MSc, Aeronautics, BSc, Electronic Engineering), is founder and Managing Director of London-based Mativision Limited.

Anthony Karydis (MSc, Aeronautics, BSc, Electronic Engineering), is founder and Managing Director of London-based Mativision Limited (global leader in Immersive Tech, winner of the 2019 Digital Catapult Platinum Award and the SME News Business Elite Awards for London's Best VR Media Production Firm 2021, London’s Best VR and Immersive Technology Specialist 2022 and Best Immersive VR Experience Provider 2023). He has 30+ years of working experience, including flight control software for fighter aircraft simulators, managing multi-national European R&D projects, lecturing on Digital Media Production, and managing high-tech companies. He is a multi-awarded photographer, Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, holding its highest distinction of Accredited Senior Imaging Scientist (ASIS FRPS), and some of his other passions are cats, Jazz & Blues, electric guitars, and responsible motorcycling.

London-based Mativision Limited develops award-winning immersive content and applications since 2012. Mativision has delivered more than a hundred of commercial immersive projects in AV/VR and the Metaverse to global brands and have participated in several UK and EU funded R&D programmes addressing cutting edge technologies including 5G-powered use cases.
