Dimitrios Kaltakis

Dimitris is an accomplished telecommunications and connectivity consultant with extensive experience in technology strategy & innovation, telematics solutions, telecoms and radio engineering, networks infrastructure architecture, design, delivery and testing of 4G and 5G connectivity solutions.   

Dimitris received his PhD degree from University of Surrey in 2009. He is a Chartered Engineer with the proven ability to maintain a high-level view across multiple projects and initiatives. As the Technical Authority for £multi-million projects, He has led internal and external teams from concept design to delivery of technology in complex environments, within the Transport and Local Government sectors.     

He is a strong communicator with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of senior stakeholders across Telecoms, Transport, Government and Regulatory Bodies. He also has proven experience in Public Sector/Local Authority tenders.    

He can influence at a Leadership level, and he has the vision and the strategic thinking required to shape and drive an organisation’s technological strategy.    

He is internationally recognised as an expert in wireless connectivity. He is member of prestigious UK telecoms expert working groups with a mission to shape the country’s approach to future technologies.
