Those models are rigorously tested within the HMRC Trader Dress Rehearsal and Goods Vehicle Movement Service environments prior to going live with Customs Declaration Service. The efreight customs simulator service (SIM) is fully intgerated with the HMRC Trader Dress Rehearsal service. Through the SIM we can help you securely test declaration models to remove the risk of declaration failure, duty miscalculations and regulatory fines.

The Trader Dress Rehearsal system operates in a standalone test environment seperate from HMRC Customs Declaration Service system. Meaning any declaration tests conducted with the SIM do not trigger duty payments.

HMRC intends to legislate for Freeports in the autumn, allowing for the possibility for Freeport customs sites to begin operating by November 2021.

The efreight FiS service has been designed to help you align your customs processes and procedures in advance of the legislation being published. We will help you make the necessary preparations for using simplified declarations under a Freeport business authorisation and Internal Movements in Temporary Storage (iMiTS) with declarations “by conduct”.
