Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working at the interface of university-industry collaboration and leads on academic business knowledge exchange in the technology space across multiple domains with specific expertise in immersive, virtualisation and simulation, big data, cybersecurity and complex systems.

Previous roles include corporate training, leading on university consultancy, collaborative R&D and delivery of SME support programmes.  Jennifer also led on development of a creative tech partnership with Indian SMEs and regional stakeholders and was the business lead for the university as academic partner in the Digital Catapult Centre Brighton and 5G Brighton.  She was also the SME engagement lead for a £1.3m European Structural Innovation Fund 'Digital Innovation Value Accelerator' (DRIVA) giving SMEs access to a live proprietorial data feed out of Gatwick Airport, innovation support and funding to release value from data and innovate Next Gen products and services.

Jennifer is a Connected Places Catapult Business Fellow, joining the cohort of Knowledge Exchange Experts who identify opportunities for deeper university / Catapult /industry collaborations that accelerate pace, scale and impact of CR&D in achieving UK and global targets for net zero.
