Jo Gilbert

Jo Gilbert is a Technical Director at the GSMA - a global organisation unifying the mobile ecosystem to discover, develop and deliver innovation foundational to positive business environments and societal change.

She leads the manufacturing and industrial vertical and is focused on accelerating the adoption of mobile technologies to support the digital transformation of the global manufacturing and industrial sector. With a career spanning over 20 years and 4 generations (2G-5G) in the telecommunication sector, Jo has enabled mobile network operators to deliver value beyond connectivity by harnessing new and emerging technology such as IoT, APIs, big data & AI.

Jo holds a BA in Business Administration and MSc in Informatics.
