John Okas

I have many years’ experience in the wireless and telecommunications industry with both equipment vendors (Motorola, ComDev & Racal) operators (including NTL (now Arqiva) and Multinet - a telecomms company I started in the Pell Frischmann Group) and consultants (Hyder (now Arcadis) and Real Wireless). With experience in systems engineering, product management and general management I have worked with international development teams, manufacturing facilities and key customers. At NTL I led a consortium formation and bid process for PSRCP (predecessor to ESMCP). I have worked on many large and complex projects and bids for civilian and government wireless requirements. Areas of experience include: cellular systems - 2G/3G/4G/5G, M2M/IoT, Wi-Fi, TV and radio broadcast networks, ITS and CAVs. I am an experienced general manager and board member in technology companies and specialises in managing complex business development projects. I have broad experience in the TMT sector across many related areas including regulation, spectrum, contract negotiation, procurement and project management. I'm part of the management team at Real Wireless - the clue is in the name - we are experts in all things wireless !
