Keith Robson

Following an early career in Schlumberger Technologies as an electronic engineer Keith went on to become MD of a private instrumentation company, Beta Instrument, managing it through a successful trade sale in 1996. In 2001 after a successful turnaround of another, USA owned, instrumentation company Keith moved from industry to take a management role the HE sector. Keith played a key role in setting up the University of Surrey’s £90 million 5G Innovation Centre combining his role as Chief Operating Officer for the Centre with his wider Business Engagement responsibilities. Both roles entail strong links with the Local Enterprise Partnerships, County and Borough Councils to generate economic growth and SME development in the Innovation South region. Keith started the Surrey 100 business Angel Club, one the region’s most active angel finance organisation. On retiring from Surrey Keith is now Interim Head of Space South Central, the UK's largest Satellite cluste, with interests in Space, 5G/6G, Cyber, Earth Obsevation. SME engagement and Skills
