We have developed a new intelligent content format called adaptive-media (Patent Office UK0000343129), digital media that can perceive the viewer in front of the screen and adapt naturally to the viewer in real-time based upon how they appear and how they react. Intro film: https://youtu.be/368tM1Fp4x0 Adaptation based upon facial analysis is as old as humanity. Adaptive-media is digital media that adapts naturally to the viewer in real-time based upon how they appear and react, just as humans instinctively adapt to each other. Adaptive-media reads facial inputs through the device camera using browser-based artificial intelligence to analyse the person and serve appropriate content, usually in the form of digital tools or video content. Our solution is the worlds first AI-based media format that can actively perceive the viewer at home on their PC, tablet or smartphone and respond to factors such as their emotions, demographics, attention, and well-being whilst fully protecting their personal privacy Adaptive-media is an ambitious, disruptive and original UK based R&D innovation that can make a significant impact on the economy at this challenging time. The idea of creating a media and content format that can adapt to the viewer in real-time is a game-changing innovation. We believe it has potential as a new entertainment format and are also developing user cases in education and health sectors. The format could prove prescient in times increased self-isolation where we have created a media format that can respond to people’s emotions and help with measuring and adapting to their well-being. We are looking for network and content partners who see potential in our video format in the context of 5G.
