Currently I am supporting a range of 5G related initiatives with clients in the UK and further a field and in particular working with cities competing for funding initiatives driven by DCMS where geospatial aspects of planning for 5G and full fibre have a role to play. I have more than 30 years’ commercial experience, 20+ of which have been in Programme and Project Management delivery roles. I thrive on projects with innovative challenges, requiring problem solving and negotiating with clients and suppliers to deliver great outcomes. My experience covers a wide range of high profile projects across industries as diverse as retail, finance and telecom. I summarise my skills as follows: • Programme and project delivery using all recognised major methodologies • Bid management, third part management, contract preparation & negotiation • Programme management for concurrent projects totaling £15M • Creative and innovative thinking • Management of project teams in excess of 20 people across multi sites and direct line management of up to 40 people • Cross functional team management for delivery of business change programmes • Business analysis, process mapping and re-design for business change • Leadership, coaching and mentoring Personally, I enjoy the outdoors as a New Forest runner, diy and engineering projects of all types, creating and playing music and keeping abreast of new technologies.
