Usman Hadi

Usman Hadi is working as an assistant professor with the School of Engineering, Ulster University, Belfast, United Kingdom. He received his Ph.D. and MS degrees in Electronics and Telecommunications Technologies from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
He was working as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalborg University, Denmark, in close collaboration with Nokia. He was a visiting researcher at ESIEE Paris, France, and Nokia Bell Labs. He has been included in the top 2 % of researchers for three consecutive years in 2023, 2022, and 2021, respectively. He has authored more than 60 journal articles and transactions. He has received the Research and Impact Fund and ISPF grants as a principal investigator and has been a co-investigator for EPSRC, and DFE research grants. His research interests include machine learning for engineering applications, unmanned aerial vehicles, fiber wireless communication, microwave photonics, and devices for telecommunications.His research interests include radio over fiber, machine learning for engineering applications, unmanned aerial vehicles, fiber wireless communication, microwave photonics and devices for telecommunications.
