The Digital Connectivity Forum is delighted to announce the launch event of their Climate Guidance for SME's in the telco industry.
The Digital Connectivity Forum (DCF) is the UK Government’s advisory group on digital connectivity issues. Its members collaborate, source evidence, provide expertise and make recommendations to Government, regulators and industry, with the aim of developing policies which deliver seamless digital connectivity across the UK. The Digital Connectivity Forum’s sponsors span the entire telecoms industry.
Earlier this year, the Digital Connectivity Forum launched their Climate & Sustainability Work Group (CSWG). This group provides a platform for the facilitation of UK Telecoms collaboration, enabling the acceleration of individual and industry path(s) towards net zero.
As part of this ongoing work the CSWG have created a climate guidance aimed at SME's in the telco industry, recognising that small and medium sized enterprises represent 99% of British business and will play a critical role in carbon footprint reduction for the sector.
We are delighted to be launching this guidance on 14 November in Central London with a hybrid joining option available. The afternoon will begin with a short presentation of the guidance, followed by a panel discussing key points of the guidance as well as key questions surrounding net zero and SME engagement.
The afternoon will conclude with networking drinks.
