BT Labs TEAC UK
BT partnered with the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) and Facebook (now Meta) to open the UK’s TIP Ecosystem Acceleration Centre (TEAC) in 2017, a UK lab bringing together start-ups and BT to develop new telecom digital technologies. TEAC UK gives start-ups access to BT's test networks and BT engineers in Adastral Park.
NEC Open RAN Lab
NEC established its European 5G Centre of Excellence (CoE) and test lab in Ruislip, just outside of West London in 2020. It has a clear focus on Open RAN integration and end-to-end solution development and validation.
UKRI National Millimetre Wave Facility
Millimetre Wave Measurement facility, a state-of-the-art facility at the University of Sheffield’s Communications Research Group, is available for tests on antennas, wafer dies and other small devices in ranges from 10GHz to 110GHz.
The mmWave measurement facility is for industry and academics. It tests and measures antennas, devices and circuits on-wafer and RF systems.
