PPM has four divisions: - PPM Power - Vialite Communications - PPM Systems - PPM Test 5G activities are supported by Vialite Communications.
ViaLite Communications (PPM) products are used in two main areas for 5G:
1) GNSS timing and synchronisation for eNB / gNB RF signal routing over fibre. This ViaLite product takes the GPS / GNSS signals into secure datacentres, shielded environments and hard to reach locations like subway.
2) Network Vendor Interoperability Testing (NVIOT) laboratories; fibre routing and switching. This ViaLite product helps Mobile Operators deal with the challenges of large cumbersome coaxial cable runs, MIMO, switching between eNodeB in a testing environment.
3) Cellular DAS applications. This ViaLite product helps customer route and repeat cellular signals over fibre network.
