UKTIN Standards Expert Working Group

The UK Telecoms Innovation Network (UKTIN) Standards Working Group supports SMEs looking to innovate within the telecoms supply chain and navigate the standards ecosystem.

Standards are an essential part of the telecoms sector, but it can be difficult for SMEs to understand and engage the myriad standards bodies and their processes. The UKTIN Standards Working Group is designed therefore to help early-stage companies understand the implications of standards for their business and make related decisions on appropriate engagement and/or crystallising the economic value of their innovation in intellectual property as related to telecoms standards.

The group will work in close collaboration with the UKTIN Standards Champion, to provide invaluable support and guidance.

SMEs are a fantastic source of innovation in our industry. We’re excited to be leading this group of highly experienced and knowledgeable members, to help early-stage companies better negotiate the standards landscape and generally enhance the UK’s position in telecommunications standards”.
