DSIT panel at Connected Britain: Urban connectivity- exploring open 5G infrastructure
The DSIT Open Networks team is organising this panel as part of Connected Britain on Thursday 21 September (12:30-13:20). Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading figures from networks, industry and local government discussing the role of open 5G networks in creating robust, future-proof connectivity infrastructure:

- Ceren Clulow - Chair, ADEPT Digital Connectivity Working Group (co-chair)
- Iain Milligan - Chief Network Officer, Three
- Claire Venners - General Manager, Boldyn Networks
The panel will be discussing topic items including:
- The role that open 5G infrastructure can play in helping to drive regional growth, and deliver better services for citizens;
- Lessons learnt by places and industry during deployment of open 5G network solutions, and the unique challenges of crowded urban and tourist environments;
- The role of government funding in supporting R&D, and the vision for the future.
