About the workshop

The future development of Wireless Communication Systems is intrinsically linked to the success and growth of modern economies. To monitor current trends and address emerging directions, the University of Strathclyde brought together leading organisations for a comprehensive workshop that will convene decision-makers, thought leaders, prominent academics, and influential industrial experts. This gathering will serve as a platform to advance debate and discussion on critical issues, address contemporary concerns, propose effective solutions, and explore avenues for international collaboration around the development of 6G technologies.

A pivotal focus of this two-day event will be the seamless transition from fundamental research and development to demonstrable economic impact. This connection is essential for fostering innovation and ensuring that advancements in wireless communication translate into tangible benefits for economies worldwide.

In addition to the workshop, an exhibition will be held, providing SMEs with a unique opportunity to engage with international industry leaders. This interaction will facilitate knowledge exchange, collaboration, and potential business opportunities, enhancing the global impact of their innovations.

This event is organized in partnership with esteemed Academies representing the pinnacle of engineering expertise in their respective countries.
