These include engine dynamometers, environmental chambers, crash laboratories, battery test facilities and advanced emissions chassis dynamometers.
Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK is home to innovative companies who benefit from access to UTAC’s testing facilities and expertise, forming an integral part of the UK’s vehicle technology cluster. UTAC hosts exceptional vehicle-related events for up to 7,000 people.
UTAC’s winter test facility, which is based in Northern Finland, specialises in vehicle and tyre testing in winter conditions. The team in Lapland are experts at preparing snow and ice tracks for repeatable testing and at performing development and type approval tests on tyres. The world’s first indoor winter test facilities make testing on natural snow available twelve months of the year.
