Open RAN has become one of the most important and contentious topics in the telecoms industry and its impact can be seen all over the world. But will it live up to its potential and can new technologies, such as the RIC, have any meaningful impact? As we await broader operator support, what will accelerate its commercial deployment?

Building on the foundational work of the Telcos and Public Cloud Summit, this event, now in its third year, has matured to focus on the use of public cloud technologies for the next generation of operation and business support systems (OSS and BSS).

New for 2024, the Telco as a Platform Summit will look at the various approaches to designing a Telco as a Platform model that will stimulate innovation and create opportunities with enterprises and consumer-facing service companies.

Spotlight on 5G returns soon for its fourth year, running alongside the MWC24 exhibition and conference. From 26-29 February, the TelecomTV team will be on the ground to report on all the major industry news, announcements, solutions and product launches that take place at MWC Barcelona.
