Connectivity for people and places

The MarK project aimed to demonstrate how shared infrastructure and neutral hosting models could have enabled new commercial and community-based services, overcome current 5G deployment barriers, delivered enriched services, and improved customer choice.

The ONE WORD programme brought together four local authorities to build 5G infrastructure, supported by industry project participants.

The 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland, one of the very first in its area.

The Future Network Programmes represent a landmark government funded initiative aimed at advancing the UK’s digital infrastructure. Evolving from the 5G Testbeds and Trials (5GTT) programme, this eight year effort has played a major role in shaping the telecoms innovation landscape and strengthening industry government collaboration.
