The ONE WORD programme brought together four local authorities to build 5G infrastructure, supported by industry project participants.

The 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland, one of the very first in its area.

The Future Network Programmes represent a landmark government funded initiative aimed at advancing the UK’s digital infrastructure. Evolving from the 5G Testbeds and Trials (5GTT) programme, this eight year effort has played a major role in shaping the telecoms innovation landscape and strengthening industry government collaboration.

London Tech Week 2025 (9th – 12th June) is the UK’s largest and most influential tech event. As a global celebration of tech, it unites the most innovative thinkers and talent of tomorrow in a week-long festival with over 45,000 attendees at last year’s main event at Kensington Olympia.

The telecoms industry forms a vital part of the UK’s society and economy. It connects the country and provides the basic infrastructure on which we build all elements of our digital lives, both social and economic.

Semiconductors, also known as ‘chips,’ are present in almost every device we use: from day to-day consumer electronics, vehicles, defence, healthcare, to the data centres powering AI. Virtually every piece of digital technology is built upon a bedrock of semiconductors.
