This is the official closure document for the ON-SIDE project which was funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
The ON-SIDE project addressed key challenges associated with deploying private 5G stand-alone (SA) networks operating in shared access radio spectrum. There is significant opportunity for private 5G (and 6G) networks to complement the public networks and support a growing number of applications and use cases that would benefit from such network connectivity.
