Hello, I’m Vishal Mathur and I am the Global Head of Engagement at the Telecom Infra Project (TIP). Formed in 2016 as an engineering-focused, collaborative methodology for building and deploying global telecom network infrastructure, our goal is to enable global access for all. 

In London on the 14th of September, The Right Honourable Sir John Whittingdale, Minister for Data and Digital Infrastructure announced the 19 successful projects in the Open Networks Ecosystem (ONE) competition - a part of the government’s £250 million Open Networks R&D Fund delivering on the 5G Telecoms Supply Chain Diversificatio

• Seven companies join SONIC Labs to test performance and evaluate indoor and outdoor Open RAN products
• Companies will gain access to Digital Catapult’s leading Open RAN testing facilities

• Government announces £88 million investment in innovative open 5G connectivity solutions across the UK

Hi, I’m Tom Rumbelow and I lead the Open RAN policy team in the Telecoms Diversification Unit at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. 

NTIA/ITS, in collaboration with U.S. Department of Defense FutureG & 5G Office, is pleased to announce the (RAN) Intelligent Controller (RIC) Application (App) Forum, an event designed to showcase the current state of the open RAN RIC App market.

Organised by the Open RAN Global Forum, this event the fifth in the series seeks to discuss the progress of Open RAN and the crucial role of the RIC. It will examine the continually evolving ecosystem of players from hardware and software players, right down to the silicon level.
