Some of the UK's smaller fibre altnets might be feeling the pinch at the moment, but CityFibre isn't one of them.
The wholesaler has published a set of full-year numbers that are no doubt the envy of many of its more financially-strained rivals.
Profits, which have proven elusive to many a budding altnet – including CityFibre until fairly recently – surged, with adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) rising to £29 million in 2025 from a mere £5 million a year earlier.
