The UKTIN Cross-Government Telecoms Strategic Coordination Group is responsible for putting forward key policy considerations and intervention options for the UK Government. Providing an informed advisory function, the group will play a neutral role in helping to ensure commonly aligned innovation and R&D policy goals in telecoms across UK Government, including specific relevant government departments and policy teams.
The Group will engage across both Government and wider industry and academic communities, collating knowledge from all UKTIN Working Groups. Activities will focus on developing further understanding of telecoms innovation, research, development and innovation challenges, gaps, opportunities and existing fragmentation in the ecosystem. With the ultimate goal of identifying UK-focused roadmaps for technology capability development.
