About the Event
DSIT is inviting Local Authorities, telecoms industry representatives and others with an interest in local telecoms infrastructure to attend a virtual briefing event on Thursday the 15th of June for the opportunity to hear about the Smart Infrastructure Pilot Programme competition.
The initiative, which is a joint programme between DSIT and the Department for Transport (DfT), will provide up to £1.5m in funding for six local authority-led pilots, which will be matched by smart service providers working with the participating local authorities, to procure and test innovative smart multi-purpose columns or lampposts.
The event will take place on google meets between 10:00 - 12:00.

Please note that, if you are looking for potential collaborators, attendees are invited to deliver a three-minute pitch (with a maximum of three slides).
