TalkTalk has put the wheels in motion to shed another 100 staff as part of its ongoing endeavour to turn its business around.
The UK broadband provider has opened a consultation process affecting 100 employees at its Salford headquarters and London offices, the Standard revealed on Tuesday.
The paper did not cite its sources, noting only that it had learned of the news. However, it secured a comment from the telco, which essentially backed up its claims.
"Over the past 18 months, we have been transforming how TalkTalk Group operates, invests, and serves its customers," a spokesperson for the company said. "The proposed changes to our consumer business are a necessary part of that journey, creating a more agile and future-focused organisation that can deliver innovation and improved service for our customers."
