According to the newly merged operator’s survey, 74% of tourism-related SMEs, such as hotels, restaurants and gift shops, reported a financial boost this summer as many UK holiday makers chose to stay in the country for their trips, but 19% believed poor connectivity prevented them from fully capitalizing on that.

33% felt better connectivity would help them grow their ecommerce via things like improving online shopping options and adding services like click-and-collect, while 41% said they would enhance their wifi, and 30% would explore AI tools for customer support.
