Microsoft has announced a new enterprise agentic platform called Microsoft Discovery, which purports to accelerate research times by giving scientists and engineers specialised AI agents to collaborate with.
Microsoft Discovery, launched at the Microsoft Build 2025 event taking place this week, is built on top of the tech giant’s Azure cloud platform and in short provides researchers access to specialised AI agents based on a “graph-based knowledge engine.”
Researchers will be able to integrate it with their own models, tools, and datasets as well as partner and open-source solutions and the platform will, claims Microsoft, “drive scientific outcomes with speed, scale, and accuracy.”
