New for 2025, visit the UK Innovation Pavilion to see the latest R&D, innovations and opportunities available across the UK.
The organisations, government bodies and projects on the pavilion are joining forces to offer regular tours throughout the week of MWC, enabling you to get the full picture of what innovations the UK has to offer this year.
To name some of what will be on offer:
- You'll be able to meet representatives from the UK Space Agency, Department for Business and Trade, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and Innovate UK to discuss the UK government's innovation strategy.
- You'll be able to see firsthand how project YO-RAN has leveraged Open-RAN technologies in the interfacing of real-world 5G and 6G use cases, with a cell-free MIMO demonstrator, real-time close loop control of CNC machine and a mmWave communications system.
- You'll be able to test out the UK Telecoms Innovation Network's AI R&D Discovery Toolkit to answer all your telecoms questions. You'll be able see how project REASON is creating a 6G network using multi access technologies, demonstrated through 3D holograms.
- You'll be able to transport yourself to Digital Catapult's lab and take a virtual tour to see how they're driving Open RAN product development.
- You’ll be able to discover how the Federated Telecoms Hubs are commercialising cutting-edge telecoms research. Come explore solar energy harvesting with optical data transfer, witness a robot mimicking human movement using radar technologies, experience RSMA's superior data rates, and see dynamic spectrum sharing in action using digital twin technology.
