The UK's National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) is on the lookout for some very clever people to put Google's Willow quantum processor through its paces.
As part of a partnership with the US tech giant, the NQCC has invited budding researchers to submit proposals describing how they plan to experiment with Willow; the scientific rationale behind it; and the potentially transformative results.
The successful applicant will be awarded research grants, and be given the opportunity to work closely with experts from Google to design and conduct their experiments, while the NQCC will make available its technical expertise in support of the project.
